Tasting Notes
Think raspberry sorbet, redcurrants and a crack of native aussie pink pepper. It's bright, fresh and a little bit playful. There's a lovely mouth-watering acidity that makes it all too easy to go back for another sip. made with the intention of being age worthy but ensuring that it is still light on its feet and saucy as a young wine.
Not your classic Rioja Riserva style.
marqués de Riscal; eat your heart out.
Graciano 2025
Best enjoyed when you're gathered around a table, talking about everything and nothing. Or when the sun’s dipping low and you’re pouring one more glass because the playlist's too good to leave.
Pairs well with patatas bravas, jamon fresh off the bone and anything that is filled with paprika. go wild, maybe learn flamenco and enjoy.
Rioja Nouveau, reverse rioja, rioja inversa. this wine takes rioja and flips its on its traditional head, leading the charge with 95% graciano and 5% Hunter Valley tempranillo. cold soaked for a week before a cool ferment. the wine finished malo before being tucked away into a 3rd fill hungarian puncheon, lees stirring every month until it came back out of timber 10 months later. cold settled, unfined, unfiltered. good juice
